Job summary

Madison Square Garden Entertainment Corp. (MSG Entertainment) is hiring an Infrastructure Security Engineer to design, implement, and automate security across on‑prem and cloud environments. You will manage firewall policies, drive zero-trust architectures, and lead security automation initiatives.

The role requires 5+ years of security engineering experience, strong networking fundamentals, and proficiency in Python/Go. Onsite in Los Angeles with a competitive pay range and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, cybersecurity, or related field or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of security engineering experience with networking and cloud environments.
• Solid foundation in PKI, certificate management, and web/app security concepts.

Responsibilities

• Manage Palo Alto networks firewalls and tune security policies.
• Contribute to secure network architecture across multi-vendor environments.
• Collaborate with network teams to implement security controls without impacting performance.
• Own end-to-end technology delivery, docs, and post-implementation support.
• Secure hybrid and multi-cloud environments with cloud networking controls.
• Serve as L3 escalation for security operations and incidents.
• Conduct technical audits and engage with GRC functions.
• Evolve security services catalogs with defined SLAs and messaging.
• Support business cases for security investments and in-house tooling.
• Develop recovery and business continuity plans with resilience testing.
• Drive in-house tooling and automation for pentesting workflows.
• Collaborate with IS/IT leadership to roadmap the security program.
• Push hyper-automation across security products to minimize manual work.
