Job summary

Parsons seeks experienced Project Managers to join our PG&E Infrastructure division in California. You will lead scope, schedule, cost, quality, and overall program performance for high-visibility infrastructure work in the region.

Ideal candidates have a bachelor’s degree in Project Management or Civil Engineering and at least 12 years of engineering management experience on large-scale programs. Collaboration with stakeholders is essential to deliver on time and within budget.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Project Management, Civil Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum of 12 years of relevant engineering management experience on large-scale programs.
• Experience managing complex infrastructure projects through all delivery phases.
• Strong knowledge of project controls, budgeting, forecasting, scheduling, and risk management.
• Excellent leadership, communication, negotiation, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, flexible, and collaborative team environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage project scope, schedule, budget, quality, and forecasting to ensure successful project delivery.
• Lead scope development and scope management activities in alignment with project objectives.
• Track and follow up on project-related instructions, commitments, and action items to ensure accountability and progress.
• Support client objectives by developing a strong understanding of contract terms, program requirements, and corporate policies.
• Oversee development and implementation of key project documents (e.g., Project Execution Plan, Health and Safety Plan, QA/QC).
• Ensure compliance with program and project milestones.
• Prepare and distribute concise project summaries for team alignment.
• Direct and manage all business, technical, fiscal, and administrative functions of assigned projects.
• May participate in negotiations with regulatory agencies and attend public meetings.
