Job summary

CACl International Inc. is seeking an Infrastructure Observability and Monitoring Engineer to design, implement, and manage comprehensive monitoring across enterprise infrastructure for the DIA CIS program.

You will drive real-time data collection, thresholding, and automated ticketing to ensure continuous system availability and SLA adherence. Responsibilities include collaborating with cross-functional teams, testing health through simulations, and producing clear documentation and reports.

Qualifications

• Requires a current Top Secret SCI clearance with poly potential.
• Minimum 6 years designing and implementing infrastructure monitoring solutions.
• Hands-on experience with Splunk, NETSCOUT, NNMi, HPNA, and Cisco Catalyst.
• Familiarity with Tableau for reporting and dashboards.
• ITIL 4 Foundation certification or higher is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design and configure monitoring tools for real-time alerts and data collection.
• Collaborate with engineers and operations on data requirements and thresholds.
• Design tests using simulations and synthetic data to validate health and performance.
• Develop clear documentation for monitoring solutions and analytics platforms.
• Provide engineering support to meet SLA requirements.
• Support major storage technologies within the customer environment.
