WilkinGuttenplan, P.C. is seeking an experienced systems and infrastructure engineer to own the environment the firm and clients run on.

This hands-on leadership role focuses on design, performance, and reliability of infrastructure in New Jersey and New York City. You will lead the IT team, set technical direction for projects, and collaborate with development to support CI/CD pipelines, containerized environments, and application infrastructure.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of professional experience in IT infrastructure, systems administration, or systems engineering.
• Deep expertise with Windows Server, Active Directory, and Entra ID.
• Hands-on with Hyper-V, clustering, storage, and virtual network design.
• Strong networking, firewall, VLANs, VPN, and troubleshooting.
• Scripting and automation for Windows and Linux environments.

Responsabilités

• Own availability, performance, capacity, and lifecycle of the firm’s infrastructure.
• Lead, design, and implement infrastructure projects, including vendor evaluation and planning.
• Serve as final escalation point for complex technical issues across internal and client environments.
• Supervise and develop the IT staff, including a system administrator.
• Maintain operational security posture with patching, hardening, and incident response.
• Design and test backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity for infrastructure.
• Build automation to reduce recurring manual work and support CI/CD pipelines.
