The Role
As an AWS DevOps & Security Engineer, you’ll be a key contributor in building and maintaining secure, scalable infrastructure. You'll take ownership of CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure as code, cloud security, and system reliability, playing a crucial role in both product delivery and platform stability.
What You’ll Do
- Manage and evolve AWS infrastructure with high availability, resilience, and cost‑awareness
- Lead Infrastructure as Code using Terraform or Pulumi with clear, auditable change control
- Design and secure CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions), covering testing, artifact management, and safe deployments
- Implement shift‑left security (SAST/DAST, image/dependency scanning, secrets management)
- Support SOC 2 efforts with evidence collection, monitoring, and RBAC/least‑privilege access
- Improve observability through monitoring, logging, alerting, and disaster recovery tooling>
- Collaborate cross‑functionally with engineering and product to balance velocity and security
What You Bring
- 4+ years in DevOps, Site Reliability, or DevSecOps roles with a focus on AWS
- Deep knowledge of Terraform/Pulumi and config management (e.g., Ansible)
- Hands‑on experience with CI/CD tools (GitHub Actions, CircleCI) and modern SDLC practices
- Strong cloud security experience: IAM, scanning tools (e.g., Trivy), secrets management
- Familiarity with observability tools (CloudWatch, Datadog, OpenTelemetry, Sentry)
- Solid scripting and automation skills (Bash, Python), and clear technical documentation
- Experience working with SOC 2 or similar compliance frameworks
Bonus Points
- Experience with ECS/EKS, service mesh, or zero‑trust networking
- Familiarity with policy‑as‑code (OPA), WAFs, and IAM/RBAC design
- Security experience in AI/LLM environments (e.g., prompt hygiene, data egress)
- Automation of compliance evidence collection and infrastructure cost optimization
