Jack & Jill, a high-growth AI infrastructure startup, is seeking a Member of Technical Staff, Infrastructure in San Francisco to own the foundations of a platform used by hundreds of thousands of developers. You will design systems for multiple deployment models and optimize cloud spend.

This role involves building internal tools and enabling teams to ship and observe code at scale, with strong emphasis on security and reliability.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in production infrastructure, specializing in Kubernetes, Terraform, and cloud resource optimization.
• Proven track record of building enabling systems and internal tools, rather than just operating existing ones.
• Proficiency with Python and Postgres, alongside experience with GitOps and observability frameworks like Prometheus.

Responsibilities

• Design and manage cloud resources, Kubernetes clusters, and deployment pipelines for multiple deployment models.
• Develop internal tools and observability systems to enhance developer experience and operational visibility.
• Optimize cloud spend and improve security compliance standards like SOC2 across the infrastructure stack.
