Job summary

Top Prospect Group is seeking a Sr. Infrastructure Engineer with MSP experience for remote/hybrid work across MA/CT.

The role involves designing, implementing, and supporting complex IT infrastructures, including Windows Server, AD, virtualization, storage, networking, and cloud deployments. You will lead infrastructure projects, provide tier 3 escalation support, and collaborate with clients and internal teams to ensure successful delivery.

Qualifications

10+ years of hands-on IT infrastructure engineering experience, preferably MSP/VAR/enterprise.
Deep expertise with Microsoft technologies including Windows Server, AD, Group Policy, and Microsoft 365.
Strong virtualization and networking experience; cloud and storage familiarity.
Azure/Azure AD, Intune and Exchange Online knowledge is preferred.
Excellent troubleshooting, documentation, and client-facing communication.
Industry certifications such as MCSA/MCSE, VCP, NCP strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

Design and implement infrastructure solutions across Windows Server, AD, virtualization, storage, networking, and cloud.
Lead or contribute to server migrations, network upgrades, and data center deployments.
Provide tier 3 escalation support for complex issues in managed environments.
Collaborate with project managers, sales engineers, and clients to define scope and ensure delivery.
Create and maintain detailed technical documentation, diagrams, and deployment guides.
Participate in technical planning, roadmapping, and lifecycle recommendations.
Stay current with emerging technologies and evaluate new tools for client use.
Mentor junior engineers and contribute to team knowledge sharing.
