Job summary
Firefly Aerospace, Inc. is seeking a Senior Infrastructure Engineer to own the cloud infrastructure and DevOps for the Vision Navigation System (VNS) and Guidance, Navigation & Control (GNC) teams, and to support Aerospace Software Engineering.
You will build CI/CD systems, release management, and data pipelines across firmware, spacecraft software, ground systems, and cloud services. The role requires deep cloud infrastructure expertise, build systems, and experience with hardware-in-the-loop
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a technical field.
- 10+ years of professional software engineering experience with DevOps/build/release
- Experience with cloud infrastructure design and release management.
Responsibilities
- Lead CI/CD design and operation for multiple stacks.
- Build packaging and release management across firmware, spacecraft software, ground systems, and cloud services.
- Improve build times, test reliability, and deployment reproducibility.
- Mentor engineers and collaborate across software, hardware, and mission ops teams.
