Job summary

ASARCO LLC is seeking an Infrastructure Systems Engineer to maintain and optimize the company’s IT backbone, including servers, storage, and cloud services. The role works under the IT Manager to ensure reliable, secure infrastructure supporting business operations.

The ideal candidate has 3–5 years in IT infrastructure, strong virtualization (VMware/Hyper-V), cloud experience (AWS/Azure), and a proven ability to monitor, patch, back up, and document complex systems across on-premises and cloud

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of IT infrastructure experience.
• Experience with server and storage systems.
• Proficient in virtualization and cloud services.
• Strong security, backup, and disaster recovery knowledge.
• Excellent documentation and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and manage physical and virtual servers.
• Oversee storage systems, ensuring data integrity and availability.
• Implement and manage cloud services.
• Monitor infrastructure performance and perform updates/patches.
• Ensure disaster recovery plans and regular backups.
• Provide second-level support for infrastructure issues.
• Maintain infrastructure documentation.
