Inetum is seeking a skilled IT professional to lead Active Directory migration and domain decommissioning tasks for a US-based environment. You will coordinate with stakeholders, plan FSMO role transfers, and ensure secure handover of legacy services.

The role requires hands-on experience with DNS migration, Azure IaaS, Entra Domain Services, and AD CS, with a focus on reliability and compliance during transitions.

Competenze

• Strong knowledge of Active Directory Domain Services including FSMO, replication, metadata cleanup, and forest restore.
• Experience with DNS migration, conditional forwarders, Azure Private Endpoints, and Azure IaaS.
• Working knowledge of AD CS, DFS/NTFS permissions, Entra Domain Services, and SQL Windows authentication.

Mansioni

• Move DNS, management servers, database accounts, and service accounts off the legacy domain.
• Rehearse full restore, clean up the old directory, and take a full backup before teardown.
• Transfer special roles (FSMO) and demote the three domain servers one by one.
