Job summary

Howden is seeking a Senior Infrastructure Engineer in Minneapolis to join a global IT team. The role focuses on supporting hybrid on‑premises and cloud infrastructure, including cloud, data center, network and security tasks in the US region.

You will work hands‑on in a fast‑paced environment, collaborating with global peers to ensure continuous availability and performance of IT services for the US region.

Qualifications

• Demonstrate extensive experience as cloud/infrastructure engineer or similar IT role.
• Extensive experience with Azure and M365.
• Experience with multi-site Active Directory, GPO, DNS.
• Experience with patch management, MDM, monitoring systems.
• Windows desktop troubleshooting across all levels.
• Experience with cloud/server/desktop/network/telephony providers.
• Experience with datacenters and IT security practices.

Responsibilities

• Deliver infrastructure support for US region within a global IT team.
• Work on hybrid on-premises and cloud infrastructure.
• Support local Cloud, DataCentre, and network infrastructure in the US.

• Specifically,working withina globalITinfrastructureteam,providingsupportforlocalCloud,DataCentre,and networkinfrastructurebydrawing upontheir wealth ofpractical and technical experiencesupportwithin the US.

• This is a hands-onrole andwill workwithinafast-pacedenvironmentsupporting theUS region.

Job Specific Skills Profile

Technicalskillsrequiredfor the role:

• Demonstrate extensive experience working as a cloud/infrastructure engineer or in similar IT roles.

• Extensive experience working with cloud technologies such as Microsoft AzureandM365.

• Extensive experience working with multi-site and multi forest Active Directory environments, grouppolicyand DNS.

• Extensive experience working with common Microsoft technologies such as patch management, mobile devicemanagementand monitoring systems.

• Extensive experience working with Windows desktop, including all levels of troubleshooting.

• Extensive experience working with cloud, server, desktop,networkand telephony providers.

• Extensive experience working withdatacenters

• Good knowledge of networking - Layer2/3, dynamic routing, MPLS andfirewallmanagement.Cisco,Palo Alto firewalls, CATO SD-WAN experience preferred.

• Good knowledge of IT security practices and the implementation of tools that provide event logging and alerting.

Desirable Experience

• Good knowledge of Microsoft server technologies (Windows2022,2019, 2016, and 2012)

• Good knowledge of Active Directory, DHCP, DNS & Group Policy

• Good knowledge of SCCM andpatching

• Good knowledge of Nutanix/VMware/HyperV

• Good knowledge of Azure

• Experience with Office 365/CoreView

• Experience scripting for example PowerShell

• Experience with Anti-Virus technologies such as Tanium/CrowdStrike

• Knowledge of identity management solutions such as EntraID

• Knowledge of proxy services such as Netskope

• KeyfactorPKI and certificate lifecycle management solutions, including certificate issuance, renewal, revocation, monitoring, and automation.

• Administered and supported Imperva security solutions, including Web Application Firewall (WAF),
