Senior Infrastructure Engineer - NIKE, Inc.

Location: Beaverton, OR. Telecommuting is available from anywhere in the U.S., except from AK, AL, AR, DE, HI, IA, ID, IN, KS, KY, LA, MT, ND, NE, NH, NM, NV, OH, OK, RI, SD, VT, WV, and WY.

Job Responsibilities:

• Develop, test, and upgrade enterprise network architectures within major cloud platforms, including implementation, configuration, maintenance, and support of native and Multi-cloud networks and various other cloud services.
• Work with native networks for specific cloud providers and platforms.
• Upgrade, patch, and maintain the overall network infrastructure supporting private or hybrid clouds.
• Monitor utilization, performance, and availability of cloud network infrastructure and services.
• Collaborate with engineers, architects, and IT support teams to establish guides, procedures, training, and documentation for audits and compliance.
• Support architecture, design, implementation, and compliance efforts for effective cloud network security.
• Identify and resolve network problems; perform network integration work to support hybrid or multi-cloud models, such as connecting to a private cloud.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or Business Administration.
• Five (5) years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience in the relevant field or in a technology-related occupation.

Experience Must Include:

• Azure cloud networking
• AWS cloud networking
• IaS scripting
• Network architecture involving multi-cloud global networks
• Connecting various multi-network components (campus and distribution to the global ecosystem)
• Cloud system designs
• L3/4 operation support
• High-level troubleshooting, including escalated tickets involving service interruption and connectivity issues
• Load balancing operational maintenance and design
• High-level maintenance and upgrade capabilities for global WANs
