Job summary

CACI is seeking a Senior DevSecOps Engineer in a fast-paced environment to design, implement, and operate secure deployment pipelines on Kubernetes.

You will collaborate with a talented team to advance infrastructure automation, leverage Helm, Argo CD, and CI/CD tools, and ensure robust security practices across cloud platforms.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, CS, or related field, or 4 years of related work experience.
  • 5+ years of Infrastructure/DevOps experience.
  • Strong Kubernetes deployment and troubleshooting skills.
  • Experience with Helm charts and Argo CD.
  • Proficiency with at least one major cloud: AWS/GCP/Azure.
  • CI/CD pipelines experience (GitLab, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, etc.).
  • Scripting in Bash or Python; automation experience.
  • IAT Level II/III cert (Security+ / CISSP / CASP+).
  • Active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to engage remote teams.

  • Collaborate with teams to design and operate secure deployment pipelines.
  • Manage Kubernetes clusters and Helm-based deployments.
  • Develop automation for CI/CD workflows and infrastructure as code.
  • Support secure, scalable infrastructure on cloud platforms.

Job description

The Opportunity:
This position is for aSenior DevSecOps Engineer. You will be working closely with a talented team to deliver a complex software application into operations. . Our ideal candidate is a DevSecOps Engineer who is a hard charging self-starter that can come onto a team and begin to produce quickly. You should have an advanced understanding of Kubernetes, containerization, automated test, and deployment pipelines.

Qualifications:
Required:
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Computer Science, or related field or 4 years of directly related work experience in lieu of a degree
  • 5+ years of Infrastructure/DevOps experience
  • Demonstrated excellent interpersonal skills and engagement with virtual or remote teams
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  • Strong understanding of Kubernetes and deploying applications to Kubernetes clusters
  • Experience with using Helm charts to deploy software to Kubernetes clusters (ie. Argo CD)
  • Strong experience with at least one of the major cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure)
  • Experience working with CI/CD pipelines and tools (Gitlab, Jenkins, Github Actions, etc)
  • Scripting and automation skills (e.g., Bash, Python, GitHub workflows)
  • IAT Level II or III certification (i.e. CompTIA Security+, CISSP, or CASP+)
  • Active TS/SCI U.S. Government Security Clearance with required Polygraph
Preferred:
  • Working knowledge of Scrum and Agile software development methodology
  • Familiarity with government risk management framework (RMF) processes
  • Experience with container tools (Docker, Podman) and container orchestration
  • Experience with infrastructure as code tools (Terraform, CloudFormation)
  • Basic understanding of observability tools like Prometheus, Grafana or similar

The proposed salary range for this position is:

$82,100-$172,400
