What You\'ll Be Doing

A Senior Infrastructure Developer should help us build, optimize, maintain, and scale critical backend infrastructure in our AWS Cloud to support Data, AI and ML initiatives in addition to our customer-facing web applications. This position is a senior technical role focusing on improving our infrastructure and building tooling to support our development & data teams.

The goal for this position is to become a subject matter expert in our infrastructure, helping improve the cost-efficiency & performance of our infrastructure as well as socializing & improving infra-related development practices across the entire engineering org.

Access Level

This role should have access to all infrastructure, both production and non-production, as well as internal databases used by our application, regardless of whether they contain customer data or PII.

What We\'re Looking For

Education & Experience

• 5+ years of experience in Devops or SRE roles with a focus on tooling, automation, & cloud infrastructure
• 4+ years of experience with AWS, or equivalent, focusing on RDS, EKS, IAM, Lambda, S3, EC2, Elasticache, & Cloudfront
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code tooling (ideally Terraform or OpenTofu)
• Experience with Containers, Docker, Kubernetes
• Experience with Database configurations, performance tuning
• Experience with monitoring tools (Datadog, Cloudwatch, etc)
• Problem Analysis & Attention to Detail
• Bonus: Experience with large-scale AWS cost-optimization projects
• Bonus: Experience with AWS data-specific solutions including SageMaker, Redshift, & MSK
