L&G Asset Management in Chicago seeks a Senior Investment Associate to originate, analyze, execute and manage investment grade debt private placements, focusing on infrastructure issuers. This role collaborates with colleagues in Chicago and London to build a diversified private credit portfolio.

You will conduct due diligence, assess credit and structure transactions, and support capital raising for clients, with a US-based team and a pathway to broader responsibilities in a growing global

Formación

• 5-7 years’ buy-side debt private placements experience in infrastructure.
• Experience reviewing large numbers of transactions and structuring bilateral deals.
• Strong organizational, analytical and communication skills.
• Knowledge of credit risk, rating methodologies, reviewing and negotiating legal documentation.

Responsabilidades

• Originate, underwrite, execute and manage infrastructure debt investments.
• Assess credit, value, duration and portfolio fit.
• Conduct fundamental investment due diligence and prepare investment committee materials.
• Collaborate with PMs, Ratings and Legal to meet guidelines.
• Monitor existing investments, update risk views in real time, and seek waivers/approvals.
• Support marketing to raise capital and develop investment solutions for borrowers.
