AT&T is seeking a Principal Cyber Risk Manager to oversee end-to-end Technology Risk Management across infrastructure and data security. You will identify risks in cloud and on‑prem environments, drive remediation, and collaborate with stakeholders to strengthen controls and resilience.

The role emphasizes leading risk governance, control effectiveness, and communication of complex risk concepts to executives and teams. On-site presence is required in multiple listed locations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in IS/engineering/Cybersecurity/CS.
• 7+ years in cybersecurity or technology risk management in a large enterprise.
• 5–7 years across risk, control, governance functions (Audit, Compliance, Cybersecurity Operations).
• Experience identifying and mitigating infrastructure and data security risks (endpoint security, EDR, encryption, cloud).
• Knowledge of threats to enterprise infra/data security and risk mitigation strategies.
• Familiarity with NIST, ISO 27001, CIS Controls and related frameworks.
• Strong communication and stakeholder influence abilities.
• Familiarity with AI/ML techniques in cybersecurity contexts.

Responsibilities

• Identify, assess, and document infrastructure/data security risks across on‑prem and cloud environments.
• Evaluate control effectiveness and address threats, vulnerabilities, and gaps in endpoints and data protection.
• Drive issues management and remediation activities for security control deficiencies.
• Partner with technology, security, business, and risk stakeholders to monitor risks and protect data.
• Lead/assist risk efforts to validate remediation, collect audit evidence, and strengthen controls.
