Job summary

Edfinancial Careers is seeking an Infrastructure Systems Administrator to administer Windows and Linux server environments, providing central accountability for hosting, messaging, remote access, and security administration across Edfinancial Services platforms. You will serve as an escalation point for System Administrators and support ongoing operations.

The role covers active directory, Azure and M365, virtualization with Hyper-V and VMware, as well as patching, backups and capacity planning.

Qualifications

• Experience administering Windows and Linux server environments.
• Proven ability to manage AD, DNS, DHCP, GPO and certificates.
• Experience with cloud services (Azure) and virtualization (Hyper-V, VMware).
• Knowledge of M365 and SharePoint/Teams is a plus.
• Strong documentation and incident response skills.

Responsibilities

• Administer infrastructure server services including Windows and Linux configurations.
• Provide central accountability for hosting, web, messaging, remote access, and security administration.
• Maintain and monitor AD, DHCP, DNS, GPO, and certificate management.
• Manage M365 environment and licensing; oversee backups and security patches.
• Perform daily system monitoring and capacity planning; ensure data security and disaster recovery readiness.
• Collaborate with Security team and IT staff for security improvements.
• Provide escalation point for System Administrators.
