Tasks:

  • Design and implement automation solutions for enterprise infrastructure and application environments using CI/CD and modern DevOps practices.
  • Develop and maintain toolkits for configuration management, system provisioning, and environment monitoring using tools like Ansible, Terraform, and other industry-standard automation technologies.
  • Automate and streamline build, test, and deployment pipelines for cloud and on-premises environments, ensuring reliability and efficiency.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally: Work closely with development, QA, operations, and business teams to drive automation initiatives that improve delivery speed, quality, and security.
  • Champion automation best practices and knowledge sharing across IT, acting as an internal consultant and mentor for automation initiatives.
  • Maintain and monitor production and staging environments to ensure high availability, performance, and security.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve operational issues, applying root cause analysis and continuous improvement.
  • Document automation processes and infrastructure workflows, ensuring knowledge transfer and compliance.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 5+ years in a DevOps, SRE, or similar infrastructure automation role.
  • Broad understanding of enterprise infrastructure (systems, cloud, networking basics, security) and how these domains connect to business operations.
  • Strong experience with CI/CD tools and implementing/managing automated pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps).
  • Proficiency in at least one scripting/programming language (e.g., Python, Bash, Go).
  • Experience with infrastructure-as-code and configuration management tools (e.g., Terraform, Ansible, Chef, Puppet).
  • Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack, Datadog).
  • Understanding of information security and compliance best practices.
  • Excellent problem-solving, troubleshooting, and analytical skills.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills; able to work independently and as part of a distributed team.

Preferred:

  • Familiarity with cloud networking services, load balancers, or hybrid cloud architectures.
  • Experience with ITSM platforms (e.g., ServiceNow) or asset/configuration management databases (CMDB).
  • Certifications (e.g., AWS/Azure/GCP, Ansible, Terraform, Kubernetes) are a plus.

How You’ll Succeed:

  • Deliver value by automating and standardizing high-impact, repetitive infrastructure and application tasks.
  • Identify opportunities for operational improvement and proactively drive automation initiatives with measurable outcomes.
  • Communicate and partner effectively with both technical teams and business stakeholders.
  • Promote a culture of continuous improvement, knowledge sharing, and accountability.
  • Stay current with technology trends and help adopt emerging best practices.
