We seek a security-focused backend engineer to build and improve the security platform, covering identity, access management, and data compliance, and to collaborate with product and infrastructure teams to ensure secure, scalable integrations.

Role requires a Bachelor's degree and 3+ years, with strong Java/Go, system design, and cloud skills (Docker, Kubernetes, OAuth2, OIDC).

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree required.
• 3+ years of experience.
• Strong backend programming fundamentals with Java or Go.
• Sound architectural judgement and system design skills.
• Experience building systems that handle identity and access management is a plus.
• Solid track record of shipping critical systems to production.
• Familiarity with modern cloud computing, orchestration platforms, and modern Identity standards, e.g. Docker, Kubernetes, OAuth2, OIDC.

Responsibilities

• Build and improve the security platform that protects our products and customer data, including identity, access management, and data compliance.
• Work with product and infrastructure teams to make security controls easy to integrate and meet changing security and product needs.
• Improve service reliability and performance through testing, monitoring, and incident response.
