Qualifications

• 5+ years in cloud infrastructure and systems engineering.
• Strong hands-on experience running AWS in production.
• Terraform and Infrastructure as Code (required).
• Docker, Kubernetes, and serverless architectures.
• CI/CD and DevOps tooling such as GitLab and Airflow.
• AWS networking: VPCs, load balancers, DNS, and security groups.
• IAM design and least-privilege security practices.
• Relational databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, or MariaDB.
• Experience with large, complex data and how it affects infrastructure.
• Comfort with AI/ML concepts and AI-assisted tools in daily work.
• Clear communication with both technical and non-technical partners.

Responsibilities

• Manage production AWS environments across compute, networking, data, and security.
• Build and provision infrastructure for analytics and ML workloads with Terraform.
• Set infrastructure standards and best practices for the team.
• Lead troubleshooting and incident resolution for production issues.
• Own observability, including monitoring, alerting, and defining SLOs.
• Drive cloud cost optimization through right-sizing and eliminating waste.
• Design and maintain network architecture: VPCs, subnets, and security groups.
• Partner with developers, data scientists, and data engineers to deploy applications, ML solutions, and automated data pipelines.
