Job summary

Casca is building AGI for banking and seeks a Senior Infrastructure Engineer to own and evolve the foundational systems for our AI‑driven lending platform. You’ll work on cloud infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, deployment automation, and observability to keep deployments fast, secure, and highly available.

This hands‑on role requires writing production code, diagnosing distributed systems issues, and guiding technical decisions impacting the entire engineering org.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in infrastructure, platform engineering, or SRE roles.
• Strong coding skills in Python, Go, TypeScript, or Rust.
• Deep experience with cloud platforms (AWS) and core services.
• Proficiency with infrastructure‑as‑code tools (Terraform, CDK, Pulumi) and CI/CD systems.
• Solid understanding of containerization (Docker) and orchestration in production.
• Experience building observability stacks with dashboards and telemetry.
• Familiarity with distributed systems failure modes and mitigation strategies.
• Comfortable in a fast‑paced environment balancing quality and shipping.

Responsibilities

• Own infrastructure‑as‑code for cloud resources across AWS and Cloudflare.
• Design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation.
• Build and improve observability systems (metrics, logging, tracing, alerts).
• Develop internal tooling to reduce toil and speed up developer workflows.
• Drive reliability improvements: capacity planning, DR, incident response processes.
• Collaborate with product engineers to ensure operability from day one.
• Contribute to security and compliance initiatives in a regulated fintech environment.
