Job summary

Air Combat Command, Department of the Air Force, seeks an Information Technology Specialist (INFOSEC). The role serves as the 9th Reconnaissance Wing's Senior Information Systems Security Manager, providing leadership for IA/cybersecurity across wing networks and applications.

You will develop and implement short-, mid-, and long-range IA/cybersecurity plans to keep pace with technological changes and mission needs, coordinating with host organizations and staff to ensure compliance with CJCS,

Qualifications

• Transcripts may be required to verify education.
• Foreign education credentials must be evaluated for equivalence to U.S. education.
• Top Secret clearance is required for the position.

Responsibilities

• Acts as the Commander’s lead authority for IA/cybersecurity analysis for 9 RW networks, systems and applications.
• Researches and applies CJCS, DOD, CNSS, NIST and other guidelines to IA/cybersecurity in wing policy.
• Leads IA/cybersecurity meetings to plan and evaluate measures ensuring requirements are met.
• Develops short-, mid-, and long-range IA/cybersecurity plans to strengthen the command's profile.
