Job summary

Base-2 Solutions, LLC is seeking an Information System Security Officer to work with application leads, system administrators, database administrators, developers, and testers to ensure assigned systems are security compliant and achieve or maintain Authority to Operate (ATO).

The role includes following RMF for full test, partial test, CONMON, and no test scenarios, updating Xacta documentation such as SSPs, SCTM, STPs, and POAMs, loading artifacts including STIG checklists and ACAS scans,

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in CS, SE, or related field required.
9+ years of relevant security experience with degree.
Experience developing and enforcing security policies.
Proven risk assessment and vulnerability management experience.
Active Top Secret/SCI with CI Polygraph clearance required.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with application leads, admins, developers and testers to ensure security.
Follow RMF for full/partial testing, CONMON, and no test scenarios.
Update Xacta documentation: SSPs, SCTM, STPs, POAMs.
Load STIG checklists and ACAS scans; mitigate findings.
Support security assessment events and answer PAT/ISSM/ SCA inquiries.
Respond to security incidents and implement corrective actions.
