Job summary

Orbital is hiring a senior InfoSec Lead in NYC to own security, compliance, and vendor risk end-to-end. You will bring structure to our growing security program and partner with Engineering, Product, and Legal to embed security into our products and operations.

The role focuses on automating DDQs, managing certifications (ISO 27001, SOC 2 Type 2), and maturing the risk program as Orbital expands globally. Hybrid work from the New York area is expected.

Qualifications

• Significant senior in-house or scale-up InfoSec leadership experience.
• Strong understanding of cloud security and related technologies.
• Proven track record scaling due-diligence and risk processes.
• Ability to work closely with Engineering, Product and Legal teams.

Responsibilities

• Own our InfoSec strategy and roadmap.
• Own our risk program and risk register.
• Own third party risk assurance and due diligence (DDQs).
• Drive automation on the DDQ process.
• Maintain ISO 27001 and SOC 2 Type 2 certifications and manage ISMS.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to embed security in products and processes.
