Job summary

Orbital, the AI platform for real estate legal work, is hiring a senior InfoSec Lead based in the US with NYC office flexibility. You’ll own security, compliance, and vendor risk end-to-end, bringing structure to a function transitioning from contractor to in-house.

Collaborating with Engineering, Product, and Legal, you’ll automate DDQs, manage ISO 27001 and SOC 2 Type 2 programs, and drive risk governance.

Qualifications

• Significant senior in-house or scale-up InfoSec leadership experience.
• Strong understanding of cloud security; IT security/DevOps background preferred.
• Experience scaling due-diligence processes and automating DDQs.
• Comfortable collaborating with Engineering, Product, and Legal.
• Knowledge of privacy law (GDPR/CCPA/US state laws) is important.

Responsibilities

• Own InfoSec strategy and roadmap.
• Own risk program and risk treatment.
• Own third party risk assurance and DDQ automation.
• Maintain ISO 27001 and SOC 2 Type 2 compliance.
• Collaborate across Engineering, Product, and Legal.
