Dev Technology Group is seeking a Senior Information Security Specialist to lead a mid‑sized ISSO team responsible for securing and authorizing federal applications in AWS. This hands‑on leadership role blends technical security, governance, and collaboration with government stakeholders.

You will mentor ISSOs, manage RMF/ATO activities, and ensure continuous monitoring and risk remediation across a portfolio of federal systems. Onsite work is required three days a week in Ashburn, VA.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree and 7+ years of experience securing federal information systems.
• Demonstrated experience leading and mentoring information security professionals, including junior staff.
• Experience leading cybersecurity activities in a federal government client environment and with government stakeholders.
• Strong knowledge of RMF and security authorization/ATO processes.
• Experience with FISMA and NIST 800-53 security controls.
• Experience with vulnerability management, continuous monitoring, and audits.
• Experience providing cybersecurity guidance for AWS-hosted applications.
• Ability to collaborate with developers, architects, engineers, and government stakeholders.

Aufgaben

• Lead, mentor, and develop a team of ISSOs with clear priorities and security practices.
• Oversee RMF, ATO, security authorization, compliance, vulnerability management, and continuous monitoring across federal systems.
• Partner with stakeholders to maintain authorizations, identify risks, and address security requirements.
• Lead vulnerability remediation and track actions through resolution.
• Develop, assess, and implement security controls per FISMA/NIST 800-53 and client needs.
• Prepare SSPs, ISAs, audit artifacts, and RMF documentation.
• Provide cybersecurity guidance for AWS-hosted applications across the SDLC.
• Support security audits, assessments, and reviews of information systems.
