Carvana is seeking a Senior Engineer, Information Security to join the Security Architecture and Engineering Team in Tempe for an on-site role. You will design security architectures, evaluate new products, and implement guardrails to ensure secure cloud, data, app, and network environments.

You will lead security reviews, drive AI-enabled security innovations, and collaborate with engineering, legal, and privacy teams to manage risk while enabling fast-paced business growth.

Qualificações

• 5+ years in security engineering or equivalent work experience.
• Experience managing a diverse set of enterprise security technologies.
• Experience designing AI-driven automation and security for workflows.
• Strong scripting and API integration skills.

Responsabilidades

• Design and document security architecture patterns for cloud, apps, data, identity and network.
• Perform security architecture reviews and provide risk-based guidance to partners.
• Embed security by design into the engineering lifecycle with guardrails and reusable patterns.
• Maintain security technologies and ensure they deliver value across the organization.
• Leverage AI/LLM to improve detection, triage, enrichment and response workflows.
• Define guardrails for enterprise AI adoption including access control and data handling.
• Collaborate with engineering, data, legal and privacy teams to manage risk.
