Job summary

Irvine Technology Corporation is seeking a Senior IT Security Engineer to protect cloud and network environments and to lead AI safety adoption. You will build guardrails, governance, and controls balancing AI use with risk, on a senior IC fast-paced team.

You’ll design security across AWS/Azure/GCP, own AI security strategy, and coordinate with IT for policy and risk management in a growing tech environment.

Qualifications

• 7–10 years hands-on cybersecurity engineering experience.
• Cloud and network security expertise.
• CISSP certification required.
• Experience with enterprise-scale AI security strategies.
• Familiarity with NIST, PCI, CJIS frameworks is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design, harden, and maintain security across cloud and network infrastructure.
• Own enterprise AI security strategy and risk assessments.
• Assess AI-driven threats and develop countermeasures.
• Deploy AI-driven security platforms and oversee risk management.
• Collaborate with IT/Network Engineering on secure architectures.
