Job summary

General Dynamics IT in the United States seeks a cybersecurity professional to join the US BICES-X program, supporting DoD information sharing on global threats. You will collaborate with a dispersed, cross-functional team to deliver secure, compliant solutions for mission-critical systems.

Lead RMF activities, perform vulnerability assessments, and coordinate with federal partners to strengthen cyber defense. Requires 5+ years experience and TS/SCI clearance.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of related experience
• US Citizenship required
• Must possess and maintain a Top Secret/SCI Security Clearance
• Familiarity with network concepts, user authentication, and digital signatures
• Understanding of DoD RMF (800-53 Rev 4 and Rev 5) and related policies

Responsibilities

• Strategy & Planning
• Performs Cybersecurity activities for a large Program coordinating with government staff
• conduct network and system audits for vulnerabilities using STIGs and scanning tools
• Create, track and review POA&Ms and remediation actions
• Communicate threat information to Government leaders to mitigate risk
• Maintain DoD RMF security posture including documentation for SAVs, ST&Es, and CCRI
• Coordinate with multiple agencies for audits and inspections
• Evaluate firewall change requests and assess organizational risk
• Provide guidance to less-experienced staff
• Stay current with relevant security technologies
