Job summary

The Indiana Department of Environmental Management is seeking an Information Security Analyst to safeguard IDEM's data and technology systems, conducting vulnerability assessments and designing security controls across endpoints, networks, and cloud services.

You will respond to incidents, monitor security telemetry, and ensure compliance with applicable state and federal regulations. Strong written communication and the ability to work independently are essential.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in information security.
• Strong knowledge of security software, firewalls and encryption.
• Familiarity with state and federal information security/privacy laws.
• Excellent writing and research skills.
• Ability to identify and mitigate network vulnerabilities and conduct risk assessments.
• Self-motivated with ability to prioritize multiple tasks autonomously.
