AVAILABILITY Professional Staffing is seeking a Professional Services Engineer to join our IT services team. The engineer will report to the Engineering Manager and handle technical tasks on client projects, maintain client systems, and prepare documentation for the Service Desk.

Ideal candidates will have 5+ years in IT, a bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field, strong communication skills, and the ability to organize and analyze data while multitasking to meet deadlines.

Well established IT services company is looking to add a Professional Services Engineer who will report directly to the Engineering Manager and will handle technical tasks such as working on projects, maintaining client systems, and preparing documents for the Service Desk team.

Skills Needed:

• Setting up and configuring server hardware (RAID, NIC teaming, Lights out Management)
• Using virtual machines like VMware and Hyper‑V
• Setting up and managing Windows servers (Domain Controller, DHCP, DNS)
• Basic setup and care of Microsoft Exchange and SQL Servers (including backups and memory tuning)
• Advanced desktop setup and imaging
• Basic setup of firewalls and WiFi systems
• Installing and maintaining backup and disaster recovery systems
• Understanding and fixing basic networking problems
• Deploying and documenting business applications for clients

Qualifications:

• At least 5 years of experience in IT
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field preferred
• Clear communication skills, both spoken and written
