Job description

Senior Information Systems Security Officer (ISSO) II - Tucson, AZ

Join Raytheon as a Senior Information Systems Security Officer (ISSO) II at our Tucson, AZ facility. This role is responsible for compliance oversight, assessment, and operations of cybersecurity systems, supporting multiple programs or a large-scale program. You will mentor ISSOs and serve as a subject matter expert in cybersecurity.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Review and approve configuration management requests
  2. Conduct technical and administrative assessments
  3. Implement new cybersecurity processes, procedures, and tools
  4. Support the creation and review of cybersecurity documentation
  5. Ensure policy and procedure implementation across teams
  6. Travel occasionally to other Raytheon locations (10-20%)
Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree with at least 8 years of relevant experience or an advanced degree with 5 years of experience
  • IAM Level I certification (e.g., Security+)
  • Experience in cybersecurity, systems security, compliance auditing (RMF, NIST, JSIG, NISPOM, etc.), and supporting IT technologies
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in DoD classified environments
  • Familiarity with security tools like Splunk, Tenable, HBSS, etc.
  • Knowledge of government directives and policies
  • Experience with RMF, security incident response, and large network environments
Additional Information

This is a full-time, onsite role in Tucson, AZ, with a salary range of $101,000 to $203,000, plus benefits and potential incentives. U.S. citizenship and a Top Secret DoD clearance are required. Raytheon is an equal opportunity employer committed to diversity and inclusion.
