Job summary

QBE, LLC seeks a Senior Information System Security Officer (ISSO) for Fort Gordon, GA, to manage RMF activities and enforce NIST SP 800-53 controls on classified GEOINT systems. The role emphasizes hands-on security control implementation, accreditation maintenance, and incident response.

Qualifications

• 7–10+ years of experience in information security.
• Bachelor’s degree in cybersecurity or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Significant experience with the DoW RMF and implementing NIST 800-53 controls.
• Cyber certification: DoW M 8140.03 baseline certification and CE certification before privileged access.

• Update security files for new software, error corrections and changes to user access.
• Review security violations and work with violators to prevent repeats.

• Train users and build a strong culture of security awareness.

Description

Keeping classified systems accredited takes more than checklists; it takes an expert who knows how controls work in practice. QBE is looking for a Senior Information System Security Officer (ISSO) at Fort Gordon, GA, to put security controls in place and keep them working on Scalable GEOINT systems. You'll carry out DoW Risk Management Framework (RMF) work, apply NIST 800-53 controls, and keep the program's classified systems accredited.

Must have:
