Job summary

Advantage Tech is seeking an Information Security Manager for its client in Mission, KS. The role leads strategic direction, governance, and operational execution of the enterprise information security program globally.

The candidate will report to the VP of Information Technology and oversee risk management, regulatory compliance, and security integration into AI adoption, ERP transformation, and business continuity initiatives.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of progressive information security experience with 3–5 years in a senior leadership role.
• Bachelor’s degree in information security, Computer Science, or related field; master’s preferred.
• CISSP (Certified Information Systems Security Professional) is expected.
• Working knowledge of CIS18.
• Experience developing and executing multi-year security strategy in a complex, international organization.

Responsibilities

• Own enterprise information security strategy, roadmap, and governance framework aligned to business objectives and international environment.
• Serve as primary security advisor to VP of IT and senior leadership on cyber risk, regulatory compliance, and emerging threats.
• Lead design, implementation, and continuous improvement of security program across all domains (network, endpoint, cloud, identity, application, data).
• Provide security leadership for ERP transformation, ensuring secure design, data governance, and access control.
• Define and mature security posture for AI adoption initiatives, governance and risk frameworks for AI tools and data handling.
• Lead incident response and crisis management activities with executive leadership, legal, and external authorities as needed.
• Oversee Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery planning from security perspective, including testing.
• Build and mentor information security team; drive a culture of security awareness.
• Establish and manage security metrics program, delivering executive reporting on risk posture and incidents.
• Manage vendor and third-party risk programs including MSSP governance.
• Lead regulatory and compliance activities across NIST CSF, ISO 27001, SOC 2, GDPR, and commodity trading-related regulations.
• Own the security budget, forecast spending, and evaluate technology investments with a risk-based lens.
