Cencora is seeking an experienced Information Security Engineer to lead security controls, incident response, and risk management across multiple platforms. You will drive policy implementation, mentor engineers, and coordinate with IT leaders to ensure compliant security posture.

The role emphasizes collaboration with product teams and external partners to protect critical assets and data while advancing enterprise security strategies.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of directly-related or relevant information security experience.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related discipline.

Responsibilities

• Analyze trends in threat and compliance environment and advise management; develop risk mitigation plans.
• Oversee response to information system security incidents and coordinate with third-party responders.
• Recommend security controls across acquisition, development, and change management lifecycles.
• Develop methodologies to monitor and respond to security events and support remediation.
• Provide guidance to network and system administrators and automate security posture improvements.
• Mentor ISO Engineers and oversee SLA maintenance for security controls.
• Lead enterprise security policy implementation across platforms to meet compliance.
• Coordinate with IT leaders to communicate security issues and requests for assistance.
