Job summary

Clarity Innovations is seeking an Information Systems Security Engineer to drive security innovation for a new IaC environment and manage ATO packages. You will develop security controls across CI/CD pipelines, Kubernetes clusters, and cloud platforms, turning RMF requirements into technical deliverables with close collaboration to engineers.

The role requires active TS clearance with SCI and SAP eligibility, RMF expertise, and strong communication.

Qualifications

• U.S. citizen with active TS clearance and SCI/SAP eligibility.
• Hold DoD 8570 IAT II/III or DoD 8140.01 intermediate certs under Security Architect.
• 5–8 years in network admin, system engineer, or ISSE.
• Proven RMF ability with at least two years in Cloud, CI/CD, IaC, or cyber ops.
• Experience auditing and control assessments.
• Deep RMF knowledge for classified systems and SDLC.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.
• Familiar with scanners (ACAS, Nessus, SonarQube).
• Experience taking RMF package to ATO.

Responsibilities

• Manage artifacts for government continuous authorization to operate.
• Develop and integrate cybersecurity best practices for Kubernetes and DevOps pipelines.
• Create/update artifacts (SSP, hardware/software lists, PPSM, SCTM).
• Coordinate with security assessor to support authorization assessments.
• Ensure compliance and report security violations.
• Support CI/CD security, risk analysis, and audit plans.
