Senior Information Security Engineer, AVP

Join us as a Senior Information Security Engineer, AVP at MUFG.

The role involves working at an MUFG office or client site four days a week and remotely one day. More details will be provided by our recruitment team.

Responsibilities
  • Develop guidelines for the usage, control, maintenance, and audit-readiness of information and computer resources.
  • Analyze and address security gaps within the Bank’s infrastructure.
  • Identify and resolve distributed systems security issues in coordination with technology owners.
  • Perform technical risk assessments and report findings.
  • Support audits, assessments, and external exams.
  • Provide timely and accurate reporting on security assessments.
  • Conduct remote/table-top security assessments.
  • Lead risk findings to resolution, identifying high risks and control deficiencies.
  • Design and collaborate on security metrics and performance reports.
  • Assist stakeholders with corrective actions and analyze control results.
  • Document assessments and perform threat analysis on identified gaps.
  • Communicate vendor security issues and validate evidence before closing remediation plans.
Requirements
  • Expertise in AD security features, including Group Policy, ACLs, and security groups.
  • Knowledge of Active Directory monitoring and security configurations.
  • Experience with AD Federation Services (AD FS), Windows Server AD Certificate Services (AD CS), and Azure AD.
  • At least 5 years in cybersecurity assessment, IT audit, penetration testing, or vulnerability management.
  • Experience in medium to large-scale IT environments.
  • Proficiency in control areas such as Active Directory, Vulnerability Management, Configuration Management, and Cloud services.
  • Hands-on experience with security architecture, network security, routers, firewalls, SIEM, DLP, and encryption.
  • Knowledge of operating systems internals (Linux, Windows), network protocols, web services, databases, scripting, and programming languages (C/C++, Java, Perl, Python).
Certifications
  • CISSP, GIAC, CISA, CRISC, CISM, or other relevant security certifications.
Education
  • Degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent professional experience.
Additional Qualifications

Must work onsite 4 days and 1 day remotely at Tampa, FL (preferred), Tempe, AZ, or Jersey City, NJ. Salary range: $110K - $142K plus bonuses and benefits, including health, retirement, training, leave, and more.
