Job summary

Anduril Industries in Costa Mesa, CA is seeking an experienced Information Systems Security Manager to lead security controls, risk assessments, and continuous monitoring across classified deployments. The role requires active Top Secret clearance and a strong background in DoD cybersecurity practices, SDLC integration, and incident response leadership.

Qualifications

• Design, develop, and implement secure systems and networks per NIST RMF, JSIG, and other industry standards.
• Integrate security best practices into SDLC and infrastructure design with IT and engineering teams.
• Conduct security risk assessments, vulnerability assessments, and audits.
• Recommend and implement security solutions like encryption and secure comms.
• Develop and enforce access controls and encryption strategies.
• Maintain SSPs, POA&Ms, and other accreditation documents.
• Lead security management (ISSM) and A&A processes for Authority to Operate.

Responsibilities

• Provide expertise in documenting security controls to reduce deployment costs.
• Partner with program and security teams to coordinate security artifacts for classified deployments.
• Apply DoD-like standards to analyze networks and environments.
• Collaborate with system owners to meet stakeholders’ security needs and contract obligations.
• Oversee continuous monitoring and ensure ongoing compliance and resilience.
• Define and conduct security scanning on products and systems.
• Lead incident response, investigations, containment, and reporting.
