Job summary

Federal Reserve System seeks a Sr Information Security Analyst II to design and implement security measures across IT systems, using data analytics to identify risks and drive improvements. You will collaborate with cybersecurity professionals to develop secure solutions and provide expert information security support with limited guidance.

You will oversee risk management activities, support zero trust initiatives, and help communicate plans and roadmaps to leadership.

Qualifications

• Requires a bachelor’s degree in information technology, computer science, cybersecurity, auditing, accounting, business administration and 6 years related experience or a master’s degree and 4 years related experience.
• Expert knowledge in business process improvement, risk management, system security, system design, information security, security standards, compliance, and project management.

Responsibilities

• Oversees and/or participates in implementing risk management and continuous monitoring activities for technology portfolios.
• Supports planning and implementation of cybersecurity initiatives, including Zero Trust Architecture directives.
• Coordinates with leadership to create and communicate plans, options, approaches, and roadmaps for continuous service and process improvement.
• Defines and develops policies to address cybersecurity and operational risk, advising senior management on resilience, IT, and critical infrastructure.
• Supports compliance with Board Information Security Program (BISP) with IT security teams.
• Oversees security assessments and ensures completion per schedules for divisions and certifying agents.
• Provides premier IT and business consulting to stakeholders, including evaluating IT solutions and briefing leadership.
• Implements information system security lifecycle plans in compliance with security regulations.
• Works on projects to measure security controls, plan priorities, and execute with minimal supervision.
• Develops reporting dashboards and data visualizations to meet Board information security requirements.
