Job summary

JPS Health Network in Fort Worth, TX, seeks a Senior Information Security Analyst to support planning, implementation, and maintenance of the District’s information security program, including security administration, operations, risk management, and policy development.

The role requires coordinating incident response, monitoring SIEM logs, and educating end users on security awareness; a background as privacy-security compliance specialist or IT auditor is preferred with relevant certifications.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university.
• Three (3) years working as a privacy-security compliance specialist, information security specialist, or information technology auditor.
• Seven (7) years working as a privacy-security compliance specialist, information security specialist, or information technology auditor.

Responsibilities

• Controls the addition and modification of user identifiers, credentials or other object identifiers. Conduct access reviews of network and application accounts.
• Performs tests on backup media for information integrity as needed.
• Coordinates cybersecurity incident response activities with interested personnel and affected parties.
• Compiles event logs from SIEM and other components into a system-wide audit trail; maintains logging and monitoring operations.
• Establishes a data security awareness program and conducts phishing simulations to evaluate training effectiveness.
• Develops KPIs and information security standards in line with NIST, HIPAA, and governance frameworks.
