Peraton is seeking an Information Privacy and Security Analyst to join the Citizens Security & Public Services State and Local team in the United States. You will support the Texas Integrated Eligibility Redesign System security program, applying NIST-based guidelines to protect systems and data.

You will coordinate security audits, monitor alerts, and assist in implementing security controls across networks and applications.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or 6 years with HS Diploma/equivalent.
• Familiarity with IT security policies, standards and procedures.
• Understanding of business continuity and disaster recovery concepts.
• Exposure to risk assessment processes or data processing security practices.
• Understanding of common security tools (firewalls, encryption, access controls).
• Ability to document security findings and prepare reports/recommendations.
• Strong written and verbal communication; able to explain security concepts clearly.
• Ability to manage multiple stakeholder deliverables and deadlines.

Responsabilités

• Coordinate security audits (ARC-AMPE and others) and be the main customer security contact.
• Develop familiarity with ARC-AMPE controls and apply them to the environment.
• Monitor audit responses in Archer GRC and ensure timely submissions.
• Assist with security alert monitoring (CISA, OEM) and remediation discussions.
• Support implementation of security measures per established policies and standards.
• Help prevent data loss and service interruptions; evaluate new security technologies.
• Maintain security system documentation and update with changes.
• Assist in security assessments and incident/impact reporting.
• Contribute to DR, BCP, COOP documentation and assessments.
• Prepare and maintain SOPs in line with security policies.
