Job summary

Peraton is seeking a Security Manager to provide cross-contract security leadership across policy, planning, evaluation, technology, and GRC. The role ensures compliance with TX-RAMP Level 2, CJIS, and SOC 2 Type 2, coordinating with the Technical Director and DIR.

Candidates must be located in or willing to relocate to the Austin, TX metropolitan area, or San Angelo, TX, to support a government IT environment with multi-vendor oversight.

Qualifications

• 10 years of experience in cybersecurity leadership on government IT contracts.
• TX-RAMP Level 2 or FedRAMP Moderate equivalent compliance experience required.
• Experience with TAC Chapter 202 / Texas state cybersecurity requirements.
• Experience with CJIS Security Policy compliance and data security.

Responsibilities

• Provide security leadership across policy, procedures, planning and technology.
• Coordinate annual SOC 2 Type 2 audit and corrective actions.
• Oversee vulnerability scanning and incident response programs.
• Communicate security risks and compliance status to senior stakeholders.
