The senior individual-contributor role combines records expertise with practical fluency in emerging technologies, partnering with KM, IT, and General Counsel teams to translate governance into workable solutions for attorneys and staff.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
• Knowledge of information governance, records management, data security, and privacy principles.
• Familiarity with AI governance concepts and responsible use of emerging technologies.
• Strong analytical skills to interpret data and manage records.
• Translate technical, security, and compliance requirements for non-technical stakeholders.
• Ability to work independently and in cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Design and operate information governance policies across records and data.
• Advise on responsible AI adoption and data handling.
• Conduct vendor risk assessments and review security posture.
• Lead data classification and improve data quality.
• Govern Microsoft 365 and confidential information controls.
• Develop governance workflows and automations for onboarding and transfers.
• Ensure compliance with ethical walls and legal holds.
• Coordinate collection and release of records for onboarding and transfers.
• Provide training on information governance to staff.
• Monitor regulatory developments and translate into actionable guidance.
