Job summary

Redhorse Corporation, a solutions-driven data insights and technology company, seeks a Senior Information System Security Engineer (ISSE) in Chantilly, VA. You will provide expert IA services, bridging complex requirements with business processes to keep national security systems secure and compliant.

The role requires active TS/SCI with FS Poly, a Bachelor's in CS/IT/Cybersecurity, 8 years of IA/ISSE experience, and RMF/DIACAP knowledge.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI with FS Poly clearance.
• 8+ years of information assurance and ISSE experience.
• Experience with certification and accreditation (C&A) of information systems.
• Proficiency with RMF / NIST SP 800-37, DIACAP, NIACAP, or DCID 6/3.
• Experience developing SSPs and performing vulnerability scans.

Responsibilities

• Provide IA services to internal and external customers to support security systems.
• Design, develop, and implement security requirements in business processes.
• Prepare security documentation per guidelines (DITSCAP, DIACAP, NIST SP 800-37).
• Develop and execute Security Test and Evaluation (ST&E) plans.
• Conduct risk and vulnerability assessments and recommend mitigations.
• Analyze policies against Federal laws; advise on compliance gaps.
• Develop, test, and integrate security tools to improve defenses.
• Manage System Security Plans (SSP) and Contingency Plans.
• Perform vulnerability assessments and mitigate identified deficiencies.
• Secure configurations, install security tools, and report compliance results.
• Conduct security program audits and propose risk-reducing solutions.
• Provide IA support for security architectures to meet evolving requirements.
• Assist in incident investigations and root-cause analysis.
• Develop strategies for privacy, risk management, and e-authentication.
