Job summary

CDM Smith is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead water/wastewater projects across the United States. You will be the main point of contact for planning and design of water, water reuse, and wastewater initiatives, and you will support business development activities.

This hybrid role requires office presence at least two days per week and can be based at any Industrial office in the U.S. The position includes leading diverse teams and engaging with clients to deliver world‑class solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree required.
• 10 years of related experience.
• Certification (PMP/CCM/DBIA) required within 12 months of hire or promotion.

Responsibilities

• Managing and serving as the lead Project Manager on water/wastewater projects.
• Providing technical guidance, senior leadership, and mentoring engineering staff.
• Being responsible for scope, schedule, and budget development and monitoring.
• Completing QA/QC of key deliverables and assisting on projects.
• Assisting Client Service Leaders with technical marketing for clients across the U.S.
• Building relationships with key decision makers in clients’ organizations.
