Job summary

Advanced Engineering and Environmental Services (AE2S) invites a Senior Industrial Wastewater Process Engineer to lead challenging projects across industries. You will design, optimize, and commission industrial wastewater systems, interfacing with clients and regulators to ensure compliance and performance.

You will guide multidisciplinary teams, develop innovative treatment approaches, and support business development through proposals and strategic planning.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in environmental, chemical, or mechanical engineering.
• PE license ideal or ability to obtain within 3 months.
• 10+ years of experience designing water or wastewater solutions.
• Experience interfacing with clients and leading multidisciplinary teams.
• Experience with food and beverage industries.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Excel, Word, and Outlook.
• Ability to manage multiple initiatives.
• Ability to travel as required for project/client responsibilities.
• Pre-employment onboarding requirements may include background checks, drug screen, and motor vehicle records search.

Responsibilities

• Lead the planning, design, commissioning, and optimization of industrial wastewater collection and treatment systems.
• Serve as the process technical lead on multidisciplinary projects.
• Develop treatment solutions through studies, modeling, mass balances, hydraulics, and pilot testing.
• Partner with clients, regulatory agencies, and stakeholders on permitting and compliance.
• Direct teams in preparing treatment options, cost estimates, and project deliverables from concept through startup.
• Advise clients by troubleshooting and identifying optimization opportunities and supporting business development.
