Job summary

Austin Industrial is seeking a Senior Facilities Wastewater Technician to support our 24/7 Operations team. You will operate and maintain industrial wastewater systems including Activated Sludge, RO, and MBRs to ensure optimal facility performance.

The role requires troubleshooting, training junior staff, and developing SOPs. Candidates must pass background checks and be able to work shifts in a demanding industrial environment.

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of municipal and industrial wastewater treatment processes.
• Ability to read and use P&IDs.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
• Must be able to work shifts.
• Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

Responsibilities

• Monitor equipment and processes to improve reliability.
• Perform equipment rounds and readings in plant areas.
• Troubleshoot equipment failures and provide initial resolutions.
• Mentor junior technicians and train on procedures.
• Contribute to SOPs and certification system improvements.
• Support 24/7 operations and safety compliance.
