Job summary

Versova is seeking a Sr. Maintenance Mechanic / Industrial Technician in Canby, Oregon to oversee maintenance operations across multiple facilities.

The role requires extensive expertise in industrial machinery, automation, and safety compliance, with on-site responsibilities and travel between facilities as needed. Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in industrial maintenance or 6+ years in automotive mechanics.
• Advanced knowledge of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
• Experience in PLC programming, automation systems, and industrial software.
• Experience with OSHA regulations and food safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Perform advanced troubleshooting and repairs on complex industrial machinery and systems
• Develop and implement comprehensive preventative maintenance programs
• Manage capital projects, equipment upgrades, and new installations
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior technicians
• Analyze and optimize equipment performance using advanced diagnostic tools
• Develop and maintain technical documentation for all systems and procedures
• Collaborate with management to improve maintenance strategies and reduce downtime
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations, food safety standards, and USDA requirements
• Manage relationships with vendors and contractors for specialized maintenance needs
• Lead root cause analysis for critical equipment failures and implement corrective actions
• Other duties as assigned
