Job summary

Innovative Refrigeration Systems, Inc. is seeking an experienced field technician to provide refrigeration repair and maintenance for industrial accounts across food & beverage and refrigerated storage applications.

Work involves ammonia and Freon systems, from 100 HP to 5,000 HP, with a focus on reliability and safety. You will perform routine and emergency service, troubleshoot controls and high/low voltage electrical systems, and uphold all safety policies while supporting customers

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years’ of relevant experience in industrial refrigeration systems.
• Knowledge of controls and high/low voltage electrical systems.
• EPA certification required.
• Motor alignment experience helpful.
• RETA 1&2 certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for refrigeration repair and maintenance support to industrial accounts in food and beverage and refrigerated storage equipment ranging from 100 HP to 5,000 HP
• Perform routine and emergency service on ammonia and Freon refrigeration equipment commonly found in industrial applications
• Use working knowledge of screw and reciprocal compressors, electrical troubleshooting all common types of ammonia central systems, & control/alarm systems to perform inspections and preventative maintenance as required
• Demonstrate an understanding and adherence to all work safety policies, procedures and governing requirements
