Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Perform emergency service, leak response, preventive maintenance, system evaluations, and startup support.

• Complete accurate field documentation and follow strong safety practices on every job.

About the Opportunity

RSCS and MRC are looking for experienced ammonia refrigeration service technicians who know the trade, take pride in their work, and can perform in the field when customers are counting on them.

This role is for skilled industrial refrigeration professionals with real ammonia field-service experience — technicians who can walk into an engine room, troubleshoot the issue, communicate clearly with the customer, and help get critical systems operating safely and reliably again.

You will join a team of trade professionals who understand industrial refrigeration, value strong workmanship, and support one another across a growing Western U.S. service footprint.

• RETA CARO/CIRO, OSHA, EPA Universal, welding, controls, or electrical experience are valued, but practical field skill matters most
• Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel and participate in on-call service as needed

We use a tiered hourly pay scale across RSCS and MRC for technician roles: Apprentice/Entry $20–$30, Technician (Early-Career) $30–$40, Journeyman (Mid-Level) $40–$50, and Senior /Field Supervisor $50–$70 (top end reserved for highest-level Senior Ammonia Technicians and Field Supervisors). Starting pay is based on verified experience, certifications, and job scope (including on call/travel as applicable) and may vary by location due to local market and cost of living; hiring managers set the final starting rate within the appropriate tier.
